Who can use this site
The website is for parents and guardians (18+). Children may use the free lessons with a parent or guardian's permission and, ideally, sitting with them.
Free lessons and printable books
The free lessons and printable books are free for use in your home or classroom. Please share the link with other parents. Don't sell them or republish them as your own. The lessons are an early test version and may change.
What we do and don't promise
Read with Mip is designed using the science of reading: systematic, explicit phonics and decodable stories. We don't promise that any child will read by a certain date, and nothing here is a diagnosis or a replacement for professional advice. If you're worried about your child's reading, talk with their teacher or pediatrician.
Founding Family pre-order
- Price and date: the price and charge date are shown on the pre-order page and at checkout before you enter a card. Nothing is charged when you pre-order. We save your card with Stripe and charge it on the launch date shown.
- Reminder: we email you at least 7 days before the charge.
- Cancel before the charge: one click, using the link in your confirmation or reminder email. Your saved card is removed and nothing is charged.
- Renewal: after the first charge, your plan renews every year at the same Founding Family price for as long as you stay subscribed, until you cancel. We'll remind you before each renewal.
- Cancel after launch: any time, online or by email. Canceling stops future renewals.
- Refunds: a full refund if you ask within 30 days of any charge, no questions asked.
- If launch is delayed: we will email you before the original date with the new date and your choice to keep your pre-order or cancel. We will not charge before the app is available to you.
- What's included: full access to the Read with Mip app at launch for every child in your home, including new levels as we release them during your subscription.
